For three days running
in Christmas time, in the small mountain town, the
streets gets animated with sounds and lights. In the
small houses of the old Giarratana ancient workshops are
recreated with the rooms in which the women used to spin
by hand and wo rk to their embroideries. And in
the final evening all the protagonists of this living
crib, go to the higher part of the town and from the top
of the hill create a spectacular atmosphere: a human
torchlight procession glimmering in the night. |
