 In the most magic moment of the
year, Giarratana becomes an enchanted Christmas crib. At
Christmas all the town works in synergy to create the
atmosphere of the living crib. In the streets of
Terravechia men, women and children wear period costumes
and work with  instruments and tools of the
ancient and disappeared crafts, recalling the past of
this little town. A time during which farmers, housewives,
craftsmen, and cattle breeders followed the rhythm of day
and night and their life went on tuned with the harvest
in the fields, traditional feasts and ancient  habits.
